5 Best Logitech G403 Mouse Black Friday & Cyber Monday Deals 2021

Gaming mice have a lot of buttons on the side and RGB light-up panels on the palm rest. Do we need another one?

Logitech’s answer can be a resounding yes, as shown by the company’s two brand-new mice: the G403 Prodigy ($70) and the G403 Prodigy Wireless ($100). They’re both parts of Logitech’s new Prodigy line, which aims to provide peripherals for casual PC gamers who don’t yet have the

Both mice are appropriate for gaming, but only the G403 wire mouse offers comfort and durability. The G403 is a good mouse for beginners, but it’s difficult to pinpoint what makes it stand out more than competitors.

Design

When I first used the G403, I felt like it was a Razer DeathAdder but couldn’t put my finger on why. However, after using it for a few minutes and realizing that the two are nearly identical ergonomic mice with slight variations (the death does not have thumb grooves or an additional button), it is difficult to tell (The G403 measures 4.9 x 2.7 x 1.7 inches; the DeathAdder, 5.0 × 2.8 × 1.7 inches.)

Fixed: The G403 measures 4 x 7 (inches); the DeathAdder, 5 x 8 (inches).

The Logitech G403 DeathAdder is a mouse that other manufacturers have similarly imitated. Logitech has pulled off the look of this mouse very well, though it lacks some of its competitors like the G502 Proteus Spectrum and the Daedalus Apex from Logitech.

The G403 is simple to use with just six buttons: the right button, a left button, a clickable scroll wheel, a dots-per-inch (DPI) sensitivity shifter, and two thumb buttons. The thumb buttons were disappointing after using Logitech s G Pro gaming mouse with its beautiful kinds. The two buttons are on the flimsy side with a shrug-worthy click from square one. Though they’re easy to tell apart, this just isn’t enough for us.

Features

The Logitech G403 uses the same Logitech gaming software as other modern Logitech peripherals. I’ve expressed my admiration for this program in the past, since it’s robust and easy-to-use, and does t require much of your system resources.

With the G403, you can customize its DPI (between 200 and 12,000), program buttons, link individual profiles to games, change the illumination color, and track battery life on wireless models. The G403 is RGB compatible, meaning that whatever Colourizer you have set on your gaming PC will also be in play here.

It’s easy to see on the wireless version of the G403 what Logitech is doing with its legendary mouse durability. This mouse goes beyond that by giving you an impressive 20 hours of battery life on a single charge, and while it doesn’t come with the stellar optical sensor in Chaos Spectrum varieties, it does get that same expert-level wireless receiver. The sensor is small and black, so it can easily go unnoticed in a crowded computer station.

Performance

In terms of gaming, the Logitech g403 mouse is one of the best on the market. I tried it out with Overwatch, StarCraft II, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and Marvel Heroes to provide it a complete spectrum of first-person shooter games — it worked just as well for real-time strategy titles like Starcraft II and action/adventure

With the Logitech G403 mouse, you can play any game in a variety of genres with confidence. Its “programmable buttons” are well suited for diverse gaming needs.

Only one gripe with the mouse: the unsatisfying thumb buttons made me adhere to my keyboard for most cases, but I avoided them and stuck to the keyboard unless testing a mouse. The G403 did little in inspiring newer players on how easily it was to use their like models.

Bottom Line

The G403 is an approachable mouse for novice PC gamers, but it’s not perfect by any means. The Logitech g403 mouse is not any more or less complicated to use than any other mouse, and the convenience of it depends largely on personal taste.

The G403 s wireless option is the cheapest way to go, but its other features are really just average.
