Best deals on Lenovo Tablet this Cyber Monday or Black Friday
The Lenovo Yoga Smart Tab has a built-in stand that pops out for multi-angle viewing or typing. it also includes a prop to make typing easier when it is laying on a surface. You can also hang it on the wall using the kickstand.
Although one speaker is facing me, it does not make for a comfortable experience holding the device in portrait mode since it is heavier on one side. The Tab P10 weighs about 1.28 pounds (581 grams), which is somewhat more than the Galaxy Tab S6’s 0.92 pounds (420g) or the Amazon Fire HD 10’s 1.11 pounds (504 g).
The 10.1-inch display is quite clear and doesn’t have many distortions when viewing it from various angles. The colors are vibrant, and the screen’s photo quality is comparable to high-quality prints.
The Yoga Smart Tab comes with a Google Assistant mode and offers the user various skills. The tablet automatically turns on Ambient Mode when opened in Tablet Stand mode. The Lenovo Tablet offers an always-on display that presents content in useful contexts.
In addition to the typical tablet features, you can also use your tablet as a photo frame or remote for some of your Google Assistant-equipped smart home items. I like Lenovo’s Ambient feature because it is a lot more useful than your average Android tablet. Plus, it has 360-degree far-field voice recognition which means that Google Assistant will hear you regardless of where you are in the room.
This tablet features dual JBL hi-fi speakers and Dolby Atmos support, which works nicely to create an enhanced listening experience.
The bass is not bad, although you won’t want to blast it. The sound goes away if the volume reaches a certain level because of other frequencies.
The Yoga Tablet also offers a literal smart tab. Dragging the tab opens up YouTube, but it’s glitchy. Sometimes videos wouldn’t play in the dashboard (I only saw a loading circle of doom). The YouTube app could be opened easily with no hiccups. Videos played smoothly.
The tablet comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor and 4GB of RAM, so while it’s not the best choice for playing graphics-intensive games it fares well when scrolling, navigating, and checking applications. Many 3D titles will stutter and hesitate.
The battery on the Tab is great. It can last up to 11 hours if you’re just browsing the web and as long as 10 hours of video playback. This is comparable with the battery life we’re used to seeing on devices like the Galaxy Tab S6.
Lenovo’s Yoga Smart Tab combines a tablet with a smart display for added functionality. It offers more features than other options available. The Lenovo Smart Tab has many upsides, but you may find the weight distribution to be off and the tablet kind of heavy.
Is there better options out there?
The Galaxy Tab S6 is perfect for Android users looking for a superb tablet, but it does lack important features that other tablets have. It can not be used as an all-in-one hub to control your smart devices. If you didn t find the hub all that interesting, you might want to opt for the Samsung S6. If price is one factor then you should consider the Lenovo Yoga Smart Tab: it s about $300 and half the cost of an S6.
How long does it last?
This tablet is durable, and I believe it will last because it is made of aluminum rather than just plastic. It also comes with a one-year warranty.
In the event you buy it?
Yes, if you have a large number of smart home devices that are compatible with Google.
